A5006011 - Diksmuide, measures for odor problems at PS Kleine Dijk. In this project, the odor problem that is currently occurring in the outflow pit of PS Kleine Dijk in Diksmuide must be solved in various ways. First and foremost solution, all pipes and cables must be laid for the connections of a chemical scent unit (suction pipe, power supply and control). Subsequently, it must be ensured that the PS pressure pipes reach underwater. Finally, the covers of the outflow pit and 2 subsequent pits are made odor-proof. In addition to these 3 parts, the wells (and covers) where the covers are adjusted must also be protected against H2S. To be able to carry out the above works in dry conditions Under certain circumstances, the PS pressure pipes must be temporarily laid above ground. This can be done by connecting to the individual valves of each pressure pipe in the pumping station and placing blind flanges on the current pressure pipes.
