This contract involves the conversion of the existing SHARON installation into a nitrification basin for the treatment of the centrate water. More specifically, this includes the following works (no limiting): - Increasing the aerobic zone of the SHARON installation by removing the steel inner wall, eliminating the current anoxic zone. - Replacing the existing blowers with energy-efficient blowers with a larger capacity incl. all necessary accessories. - The supply, installation and connection of: - Four new mixers/propellers in the nitrification basin to keep the centrate water in suspension. - Installing and connecting (supply of appliances no contracting burden, delivery by AQF): - Two sludge pumps (submersible pumps) to pump the return sludge from NBT 1 to the nitrification basin. Incl. all associated pipework, appendages, instrumentation, etc. - Two submersible pumps to remove the centrate water from the nitrification basin to the channel behind the existing anaerobic area (= just in front of the aeration basins).
