EPFL plans to acquire a high-throughput DNA sequencer for its Gene Expression Platform (GECF / PTEG) from the Faculty of Life Sciences (FSV). This equipment will be operated jointly with the Genomics Technology Facility (GTF) platform of the University of Lausanne and will be dedicated to cutting-edge research in functional genomics. Particular interest will be given to RNA sequencing and epigenetic profiling at single-cell or tissue resolution, as well as genome sequencing and of exomes. This instrument will make it possible to achieve medium to high flow rates, thus making it possible to sequence medium and large-scale projects. The optimal throughput targeted is therefore approximately in the range of 5 to 10 billion sequences per experience. Main CPV: 38000000 Laboratory, optical and precision equipment (except glasses)
