A high-throughput DNA sequencer EPFL plans to acquire a high-throughput DNA sequencer for its Gene Expression Platform (GECF / PTEG) from the Faculty of Life Sciences (FSV). This equipment will be operated jointly with the Genomics platform Technology Facility (GTF) at the University of Lausanne and will be dedicated to cutting-edge research in functional genomics. Particular interest will be given to RNA sequencing and epigenetic profiling at single-cell or tissue resolution, as well as as well as genome and exome sequencing. This instrument will make it possible to achieve medium to high flow rates, thus making it possible to sequence medium and large-scale projects.
