The EPFL plans to acquire a system of deposit by Confocal Splittering dedicated to the deposit of thin, high -quality superconducting films. The tool will be installed in the white room platform of the micro and nanotechnology center (EPFL CMI). The equipment will be dedicated to the cutting -edge research on thin, superconductive films with high kinetic inductance, including NBN, NBTIN, TIN and TAN.
