Short description : The municipal reform has resulted in a significant decline in the number of municipalities. 119 municipalities strike / have merged into 47 new municipalities. As of 1.1.2020 there will be 356 municipalities in Norway. Building new municipalities is a demanding conversion process. The Ministry of Local Government and Modernization (KMD) wishes to documentre and convey stories about how different actors, both in the municipal organization and in the local community, experience the merger process. KMD also wishes that experiences and experiences should also be communicated in new ways.
