The 87th Contracting Squadron (CONS) is performing market research to determine potential services in preparation for a potential future contract. This is a market survey for written information only.

The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify businesses for a Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract for Night Vision Goggles. The upgraded night vision devices have been deemed critical for ensuring that Defenders assigned to the 87th Security Forces Special Reaction Team (SRT) are properly outfitted for all activations as a Law Enforcement tactical response team. These items are integral to the readiness of the SRT, who must be fully equipped to meet all high-risk, real-world operational demands at a moment-s notice. This includes having all proper employment gear. The SRT is unique in the fact that the use of the team already has proven the need for night vision devices and the training and operational use would greatly increase the chance of mission success and highly reduce the risk. Night Vision devices and similar equipment are utilized during each operational activation. Along with the Night Vision devices, the battery pack and the required mount are crucial for the effectiveness of the devices. Refer to the draft SOW for details.

Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition is in the Government's best interest. The NAICS Code is 333310, PSC is 5855, and 1000 employee Size Standard.

This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict 87 CONS to an ultimate acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to ...
