The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to award a firm-fixed-price order on a sole source basis to Teletrix Corporation for procurement, installation, and integration of VIZRAD Frisker and VIZRAD AR systems to support the Naval Undersea Medical Institute (NUMI), per FAR 6.302-1.
The Contracting Officer has determined that a sole source award is required. The sole source, Teletrix, are the sole developer, manufacturer, and distributor of the VIZRAD Augmented Reality (AR) Radiation Training System. Additionally, Teletrix holds the patent, copyright, and all proprietary data for the VIZRAD software and its integrated hardware components.
This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under these procedures.
The NAICS code is 334519 and the Small Business Standard is 600 (number of employees).
