This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a request for proposal or quote. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20, is currently requesting information regarding the availability and capability of small businesses to perform this potential construction requirement. Responses received will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. There is no solicitation currently available. Draft documents (SOW, Drawings, Specifications, etc.) are subject to change.
Period of Performance:
The intended contract period of performance is 365 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.
Project Description:
The corridor structure at the Walla Walla VA has exceeded its useful life and needs to be demolished for future facility plans. This project aims to completely demolish the connecting corridor, restore or repair the exterior features that are touching the corridor and relocate all utilities that are still active from underneath the corridor in trenches below grade. Sidewalks, staircases, ramps and some landscaping will be added where indicated after demolition and utility relocation has occurred.
