The VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) has a requirement to renovate bathrooms to correct the following Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) deficiencies 306162, 42239, and 27984. This renovation will include grab bars, mounted mirrors, accessories, required turning clearances, door swing, and pipe sleeve insulation per accessibility guidelines / standards, bathroom signage, lockers, accessible locker identification for administration areas, benches, roll in shower installations per VA accessibility guidelines, and toilet exhaust fans will be removed and replaced. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, management, and all other necessary resources required for Project #550-25-108 Renovate Bathrooms B103 PRRTP & B64/72 (CON) as required by the drawings and specifications.
The Period of Performance is Three Hundred Sixty-five (365) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 14 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance are provided.
The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www. SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package.
