Offerors must provide proof of authorized source status by submitting a valid Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or brand owner, confirming the vendor is an authorized distributor, reseller, or service provider for one metal working shear Part # SH-120500-HD-Hyd. or equivalent
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote Number 52000PR25Q250020524. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 336611. The small business size standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside; all responsible small business sources may submit proposals that will be considered. A. REQUIREMENT: STATEMENT OF WORK
SCOPEVendor shall provide all services to conduct cleaning of ship-s hull IAW B10014.D referenced in section 3.
BACKGROUNDHull growth over time can cause propulsion, maneuverability and stability concerns. Currently, DANIEL TARR cannot successfully complete a full power trial. Data analyzed shows engines are running at full capacity but not achieving full speed, suggesting a dirty hull to be the causative factor.
