IPF Ketchikan Maritime Painters
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote Number 52000QR250019911. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 336611. The small business size standard is 1300. This is a total small business set aside; all responsible small business sources may submit proposals that will be considered. This synopsis/solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), and the resultant purchase order will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.
THE UNITED STATED COAST GUARD SURFACE FORCE LOGISTICS CENTER REQUEST THE CONTRACTORS TO PROVIDE PRICING FOR THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT:
The contractor shall provide: Marine Painters for IPF Ketchikan
A. REQUIREMENT:
1. The Contractor shall supply (2) skilled maritime painters to work at the IPF for 45 days, approximately July 7-August 20, 2025. The painters must be certified to a minimum of a QP1 in accordance with the SSPC/AMPP QP 1 Certification Programs, must have verifiable maritime or naval painting experience, and be available for rapid deployment. The painters- resumes and proof of current certification must be presented with the proposal.
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. 07:00AM - 3:30PM Alaska Daylight Time. Work in excess of this schedule is considered overtime and is not permitted without contracting officer approval.
Facility Information: All work will be performed at the USCG IPF, which is onshore. The facility worksites include a marine railway drydock and a production building with conventional paint booths.
