The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Columbia Healthcare System located at 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 on behalf of the Atlanta, Georgia Veteran s Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Martin AIJS, LLC., ), Unique Entity Identifier (UEI): V83UNKGNE6L1, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), to purchase two (2) each NuTrace Laser NUX20 NG, two (2) each Laser Start Up Training and two (2) each NuTrace R+ scanner. The requirement includes a trade-in applied for the return of the original Laser NUX20. Market research documents the NuTrace NUX20ng Fiber Laser is first laser in the world exclusively designed for the Sterile Processing Department, enabling them to quickly and inexpensively, mark surgical instruments. The NuTrace NUX-20 NG is uniquely designed and capable of being the only product on the market specifically for Sterile Processing Departments (SPD) as a compact, Class 1/4 laser that can mark complex, long instruments (e.g., Da Vinci) without opening doors, while offering integrated acid-free,, instant passivation. It is the only unit designed to replace, not just add to, surgical tape for in-house, immediate, and permanent, UDI-compliant, marking on all instrument types. The NUX-20NG is built exclusively for the SPD environment, allowing for in-house marking in tight spaces, which is not typical for industrial lasers, the system allows for marking, long, delicate, and complex, tools (like robotic instruments) without requiring, open side doors for the marking process, which improves efficiency in, crowded, departments.
