Purpose of the tender This European public tender aims to conclude an Agreement with one contractor to meet the need for the implementation of mowing maintenance in the rural environment of the municipalities of Losser, Enschede, Hengelo, Borne, Almelo, Wierden, Dinkelland, Tubbergen and Hof van Twente. Description of the Client Water is of vital importance. We need it as drinking water, for arable farming, in livestock farming and in industry. In the Netherlands there is usually enough water, but it is often unevenly distributed and polluted. That is why water management is necessary. WowIf there is too much water, the water boards drain it. Where there is too little, they supply it. They regulate the discharge of polluted water with permits. They purify the sewage water and maintain the flood defenses. The Vechtstromen Water Board covers roughly Twente, South-East Drenthe and North-East Overijssel. ItThe management area covers 225, 000 hectares, has 800, 000 inhabitants and approximately 470, 000 households.
