With the laboratory and office building Hpq, Eth Zurich is building a physics building with future-oriented laboratory and office use on the Hoenggerberg campus. The construction activities take place while the campus is in operation and are therefore subject to special requirements related to construction emissions such as vibrations, dust, etcd noise, construction site traffic, working hours and safety. The building comprises four laboratory and office floors, a public two-story ground floor and an attic with building services structures in an above-ground volume of approximately 60, 000 m3. The underground building volume ofApproximately 110, 000 m3 is divided into 6 basement floors, a main building and a side building, which houses the most sensitive research facilities (platforms).
