Tender Details

The Work includes the investigation, repair, and restoration of the failed shower drainage system in the Alpha Unit washroom at the BC Immigration Holding Centre. The Contractor shall provide all Labour, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to: Complete drainpipe scanning and verify existing conditions. Remove and replace failed drainage components, including associated plumbing as required. Remove and reinstate affected epoxy flooring and waterproofing systems. Replace existing motion-sensor lighting controls with wall-mounted switches. Provide temporary measures to maintain shower functionality and protect adjacent areas during construction. Test and commission all plumbing, waterproofing, and electrical work. Restore all disturbed areas and dispose of demolition materials. The facility will remain operational during construction. The Contractor shall coordinate all work with the Departmental Representative and minimize disruption to facility operations.
