Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source 6-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the acquisition of up to ten (10) 270- WMEC Ship Service Switchboard Retrofit Kit, up to ten (10) 270- WMEC Emergency Service Switchboard Retrofit Kit, up to ten (10) Onboarding Repairs Parts Kit, and technical representative services to safely commission the switchboards and successfully provide full power to the cutter, and onboard training to adequately educate and prepare the cutter-s crew for safe operation of the switchboards in support of the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) program. This requirement is to replace the switchboard controls as part of the 270- WMEC Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). The proposed contract will be awarded to:

This procurement is conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Award of this requirement to any other source would result in the absence of continuity with all other systems currently installed on the cutters as part of the 270- WMEC Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) and would result in----
Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition;
