Description : The BAC is conducting the public bidding for this Contract in accordance with Republic Act No. 12009 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).To be eligible to bid for this Contract, a contractor must meet the following major requirements: (a) Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines with PCAB license for Size Small B (b) completion of a similar contract costing at least 50% of the ABC*, and (c) Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least equal to the ABC.
Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”. The contract shall be awarded to the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bidder (LCRB) who was determined as such during post-qualification.
