The welfare region of North Karelia makes a direct procurement of the child welfare foster care needed by Social Services' child protection with Saalinki Oy for the contract period starting on March 22, 2026 and continuing until further notice. The procurement unit can make direct procurement in individual cases pursuant to Article 12 of the Procurement Act in the procurement of social and health services in accordance with chapter § 110, if the organization of a tender would be obviously unreasonable and particularly inappropriate in order to secure a treatment and customer relationship that is significant for the child.
