Description : 1. The Consultant shall conduct Soil Boring Test at least 30m each borehole with a total of
two (2) boreholes at the proposed flood control structure or as close as possible if there
are obstructions that cannot be removed. The location coordinates shall be recorded to
0.1 m accuracy (x, y, z) by global positioning system (GPS) device.
2. Conduct Laboratory Test like Mechanical Sieve Analysis (ASTM D422), Atterberg Limit
Test (ASTM D4318), Natural Moisture Content Test (ASTM D2216), Specific Gravity Test
(ASTM D854), Direct Shear Test (DST) or Triaxial Compression Test, Permeability Test
(ASTM D2434), Unconfined Compression Test (UCT) and Hydrometer Test.
3. The Consultant shall conduct Geological Survey and Investigation, consisting of, but not
limited to the following:
a. Collection of geological information such as aerial photographs, satellite imagery,
relevant geological study reports, documents and maps for the proj...
