The service will meet the requirements of the Best Start Healthy Baby programme and the recommendations of NICE guidance on breastfeeding support. The service will deliver support to families antenatally, provide on-ward contacts and home visits as well as follow up calls. Drop-in and appointment clinics in community buildings across the borough will also be available for families.
