The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2324-021 for the provision of Consulting Arborist Services - Parks and Open Space to provide the following services;Service Category DescriptionCustomer Request Inspections Tree assessments for customer service requestsFirefighting Water Tanks 3 yearly hazard tree reports across 58 firefighting water tanks.Hazardous Trees on Priority Roads Ground based visual inspections of trees along Council roadsides as part of the primary and secondary network across the Shire for fire prevention and community safety purposes. High Use Sites Visual tree inspections of Council high use sitesThe Council is seeking to appoint panel of providers to deliver the services, but Council reserves the right to appoint a single provider across multiple service categories to deliver the requirements, based on the outcome evaluations of received tenders.The initial term of the new contract arrangement is for three years.Council may at its discretion, extend the operation of the Contract beyond the Initial Contract Term for another three years. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed six years.It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on or around 1 May 2024.
