INVITATION TO BID
The DPWH, Negros Occidental 1st District Engineering Office, Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors to submit bids for the following contracts, to wit:

Contract Name : Widening of Bridge - Tan-ao Br. (B00175NR) along Bacolod North Rd
Location of the Contract : K0081+508 - K0081+557.90, Sagay City, Negros Occidental
Brief Description : Construction (Widening) of Prestressed Concrete Girder (PSCG) Bridge with 49.90 linear meters length (both sides), on Bored Pile Foundation, including reinforced concrete deck slab, sidewalk & railings, grouted riprap slope protection works, reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings, metal guardrail & posts, elastomeric bearing pads, rubber expansion joints, permanent casing, pile integrity testing, dynamic testing, craneway (embankment) removal of obstruction/structures/utilities/trees, clearing & grubbing, excavation, embankment, base preparation, PCCP, etc.

Contract Duration : One Hundred Ninety Eight (198) Calendar Days
To be eligible to bid for this Contract, a contractor must meet the following major requirements:(a) Filipino citizen or 75% Filipino-owned partnership/corporation with PCAB license for Size Range Medium A - 20GK0023 (b) completion of a similar contract costing at least 50% of the ABC and (c) Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least to the ABC.
The DPWH will use non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criteria in the eligibility check, preliminary examination of bids, evaluation of bids, post-qualification, and award.

Bidders shall pay the BAC of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Five Thousand Pesos Only (P 25, 000.00) for Contract ID No. 20GK0023 for the bidding documents, upon securing hard copies of the Documents. Bidders that download the Documents from the DPWH/PhilGEPS website shall pay the fee upon submission of their bids.
The DPWH, Negros Occidental 1st District Engineering Office reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process, any time before the Contract award, without incurring any liability to the affected bidders, in accordance with the provision of Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR.
