The DPWH-Batangas III District Engineering Office, Tanauan City, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors to submit bids for the following contract(s):

To be eligible to bid for the contract(s), a Contractor must meet the following major requirements: (a) Filipino citizen or 75% Filipino-owned partnership/corporation with PCAB license for respective applicable size range, subject to applicability of D.O. 117, Series of 2017: Guidelines on the Determination of Major and Similar Categories of Work and Eligibility Requirement for Work Experience in the Procurement of Infrastructure Projects, (b) completion of a similar contract costing at least 50% of the ABC, and (c) Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least equal to the ABC.



The DPWH will use non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criteria in the eligibility check, preliminary examination of bids, evaluation of bids, post-qualification, and award. If at the time of the post-qualification procedure, the BAC verifies that any of the deficiencies is due to the contractor-s fault or negligence pursuant to 34.3(b)(II)(c) of the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 9184 (2016 RIRR of RA 9184), the DPWH-Batangas III District Engineering Office, Tanauan City shall disqualify the contractor from the award without any right to reimburse fees and incidental costs paid for the procurement of infrastructure contract subject of the Bid.

Bidders shall pay to the BAC an applicable fee in the amount corresponding to each listed contract for the purchase of bidding documents upon securing its hard copies. Bidders that will download the documents from the DPWH/PhilGEPS websites shall pay the fee upon submission of the bids.



Per Department Order No. 3 dated January 5, 2015, prospective bidders shall submit to the DPWH Central Office - Procurement Service Office (PrS) for updating in the DPWH Civil Works Registry (CWR) Class -œA- documents and Financial Statements at least seven (7) calendar days, and the Technical Documents (completed/on-going projects) at least fifteen (15) calendar days before the deadline of the submission and opening of bids.



The DPWH-Batangas III District Engineering Office, Tanauan City, reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process anytime before the contract award, without incurring any liability to the affected bidders, in accordance with the provisions of Section 41 of RA 9184 and its 2016 RIRR.
