Description
The anticipated requirement will be issued as a total small business set aside with an 8(a) pool. Contractors selected for award will form the two (2) pools of contractors eligible to compete for individual Task Orders; one Small Business Pool and one 8(a) Pool. Task orders will be competed amongst both area pools.
The MACC will be utilized to procure design and construction efforts at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH (WPAFB).
The contractor shall provide all management, labor, material, and equipment (unless furnished by the Government), transportation, supervision and designs to accomplish multiple concurrent projects for a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work on real property at Wright Patterson AFB, OH and local USAF Leased spaces. The base covers more than 8, 000 acres ofland (12.5 square miles) and provides operational support for more than 100 associate units located at Wright-Patterson. The base is divided into two areas - A and B. Ohio SR 444 runs between the two areas. WPAFB has 850 facilities containing 16.4 million SF, with missions varying tremendously in complexity and nature. Facilities include, but are not limited to, research and development, hospital, secure areas, airfields, flight line, infrastructure, administrative, residential, pavements, industrial, etc. The size and diversity of WPAFB necessitates expeditious response and efficient management of the heavy volume of task orders (TOs) placed against the MACC.
The prime contractor level is limited to US owned/operated contractors/companies only, foreign contractors are prohibited to participate.
Contractors that participate in the MACC will be expected to accomplish a wide variety of individual construction projects.
