The Municipality of WestLake-Gladstone is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to perform pavement resurfacing on 2nd street in the town of Gladstone.Work under this contract will include: Density and materials testing to be provided by the contractor and forwarded to the Municipality. All excavation works Traffic management to be supplied by contractor. Removal of all remaining old asphalt and placement of new asphalt (98% density). Disposal of old asphalt and any other construction materials for this project to be hauled to the Gladstone landfill at no charge to the contractor. The contractor will supply, place and compact all granular base material required at a minimum thickness of 6”. Reshape and recompact existing base material where necessary. 3” thickness of asphalt material with a 2% crown. Removing and resetting of selected sewer manhole and drainage structures including culverts, frames, grates, covers. The Municipality will supply the riser ONLY - if any. Smooth transition from the street/sidewalks to private driveways, sidewalks, etc. Must meet the City of Winnipeg Specifications.
