The work to be performed under this contract consists of the resurfacing and restriping of streets on mainland Glynn County and on Saint Simons Island. The project will require some patching / pothole work that will consist generally of traffic control, existing base, subgrade and paving removal and replacement, and resurfacing of the affected area. The resurfacing work is generally straightforward regarding the general requirements such as traffic control, clipping, milling, sweeping, tack, leveling, resurfacing, and restriping. This project will also include some Asphalt longitudinal Lane widening and curb construction. Each road has its own unique requirements which are listed in the itemization for each location. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications, Special Provisions and the construction drawings.
