2026-63 Two physical servers for Splunk platform Background Møre and Romsdal County Council is establishing a new Splunk-based platform for security monitoring and log analysis (SIEM). To be able to collect, store and analyze security logs from many different sources there is a need for a robust and stable infrastructure with sufficient capacity and availability. The procurement is carried out to ensure a platform that can handle large log volumes, provide fast search and analysis performance and support the storage and processing of historical log data. The solution is to be established at two separate locations to support high availability and reduce vulnerability in the event of service interruptions. Description of the assignment The procurement includes the delivery of two physical servers for use in the county council Splunk Platform. The servers are to be placed in two separate locations and form part of the central infrastructure for security monitoring and log analysis. The delivery must include servers with the necessary basic equipment for ordinary operation, dimensioned for high capacity, stable performance and efficient processing of large amounts of log data. The solution will also support fast search and analysis as well as high availability across the locations. The acquisition also includes warranty and support.
