Tender Details

The Work under this Contract consists of site preparation and installation of underground municipal services for the proposed Port Coquitlam Multi-Sport Facility, to be located at 2265 Prairie Avenue. Note that this is a large site of only a portion is being developed. The location of the site is more accurately described at the intersection of Shaughnessy Street and Laurier Avenue. The intent of this phase is to prepare the site and provide the required base grades and servicing infrastructure to support subsequent surface works, which will be completed under a separate contract. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Site mobilization, traffic control, and implementation of erosion and sediment control measures. Clearing and grubbing, removal of existing surface materials, and disposal of unsuitable materials as required. Stripping, stockpiling, and management of topsoil. Bulk earthworks including cut and fill operations to achieve rough grade across the site in accordance with the Contract Drawings. Subgrade preparation and proof rolling, including removal and replacement of unsuitable subgrade materials. Supply and installation of storm drainage infrastructure including storm piping, catch basins, manholes, channel construction, storm treatment, and storm detention.
