This RFP seeks qualified proponents to compete infrastructure assessments for the City of North Battleford-s (the City) waterworks and wastewater works systems. The purpose and objective of the system assessments are to: Comprehensively evaluate the current condition, performance, and sustainability of the waterworks and wastewater works infrastructure. For the purpose of this assessment, waterworks infrastructure for review includes raw water supply systems (includes groundwater and surface water systems), treatment plants and processes, treated storage and distribution system infrastructure (includes booster pumping stations and distribution reservoirs). Wastewater system infrastructure includes collection systems (includes lift stations), treatment plants and processes, and effluent discharge outfall; Evaluate current treatment and distribution quality, identify any existing health risks and/or adverse environmental impacts associated with the waterworks or wastewater works systems. Identify future changes to regulations and contaminants of emerging concern and determine how the water and wastewater system would be impacted. Develop a strategy to continue meeting future standards and guidelines; Analyze existing maintenance and operational procedures or practices for compliance; Identify areas of inefficiency, lack of redundancy, or reliability that could impact treated quality or service delivery.
