Westbank First Nation requires asset management and planning process control software solutions to eliminate inefficiencies. To satisfy these needs, the following criteria must be met; domestic cloud source options, compatibility with current GIS systems and distributors (ESRI), offer both asset management and planning process control solutions, have resource and implementation capabilities and meet the budgetary requirements.
WFN spent over a year researching, meeting with, interviewing and vetting software distributors in this market. It was concluded that while there are many distributors who can satisfy partial requirements from this list, none except Cityworks were able to satisfy all these requirements. WFN is therefore intending to seek a sole source procurement option with Cityworks and ESRI Canada. The information contained herein should be used as a basis for creating a letter of intent which outlines WFN-s desire to proceed with contracting Cityworks and ESRI Canada for these activities.
