The Cherokee County Board Of Commissioners Purchasing Department (county) Is Requesting Competitive Sealed Bids From Contractors For The Removal And Replacement Of The Existing 1000kva/800kw Diesel Generator And Associated Automatic Transfer Switches (atss) At The Cherokee County Adc, 498 Chattin Dr, Canton, Ga. This Includes A 1000kva/800kw 480/277v 3-phase Diesel Generator Set, Housed In A Weatherproof Sound Attenuated Enclosure And Certified Ul2200, Alongside The Replacement Of Two 600a Atss And One 400a Ats. Due To The Critical Nature Of The Facility, Which Includes A Jail And A 911 Call Center, There Are Stringent Requirements For Minimizing Downtime, Necessitating The Use Of A Roll-up Generator During The Project To Ensure Continuity Of Power. The Final Proposal Must Be Turnkey, Inclusive Of All Associated Costs¿¿ Meeting The Specifications And As Described Herein. There Will Be A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference And Site Walk On 4/5/2024 At 10:00 Am.
