Tenders are invited for The Exploration and Development Operations of Cnooc (China) Co., Ltd. Hainan Branch are Entering Deepwater/Ultra-Deepwater Areas, Where the Geological Conditions are Complex, The "High Temperature and High Pressure" and "Buried-Hill Fracture-Cave" Reservoirs are Widely Developed, The Uncertainties in Formation Pressure Prediction are Becoming More and More Prominent. Conventional Drilling Technology can't Economically and Effectively Solve the Drilling Problems Caused by the above Difficulties, Which Leads to the Frequent Occurrence of Complex Situations Such as Well Kicks, Lost Circulation and Gas Cut Drilling Fluids in the Process of Conventional Drilling. At the Same Time, There are Technical Bottlenecks in Drilling in Reef Limestone Formation and Salt & Gypsum Formation, Which are Difficult to Deal with by Using Conventional Drilling Technology, Resulting in Long Drilling Operation Duration, High Well Control Risk and High Operation Cost, This Brings High Challenges to Safe and Efficient Operation. In Addition, Conventional Overbalanced Pressure Drilling Technology has the Disadvantage of Difficulties in Increasing Drilling Speed and Poor Reservoir Protection, Which is Harmful to Oil and Gas Discovery and Significantly Restricts the Exploration and Development of Deepwater Blocks. Therefore, It is Urgent to Apply New Drilling Technology and Utilize New Drilling Equipment to Achieve the Purpose of Safe and Efficient Development of Deepwater/Ultra-Deepwater Oil and Gas Blocks.Thus the Plan is to Purchase Two Sets of Advanced Btr Rcd Mpd Systems Globally and Install Them on Deepwater Drilling Rigs to Solve the Current Deepwater Drilling Problems.
