The purpose of this competition is to identify three suitable contractors to be placed on the Framework Agreement for the renewal of both timber sash and case and uPVC windows and all other associated works to various properties throughout the Parkhead area of Glasgow as required by the Association over the next three years.The works already identified as required include 93Nr properties located within the Parkhead Cross conservation area and a further 24nr properties located outwith the conservation area. These works will be awarded to the appointed framework provider who scores the highest combined price/quality score and it is an essential requirement of the Framework that these works commence on site no later than 1st March 2016.NOTE: -The Client will employ others to carry out the finishing work to the completed window installations carried out under the initial order. This work will be completed by Everwarm Scotland as part of their contract with Parkhead Housing Association for the supply and installation of internal wall insulation to the properties included in this contract.Everwarm Scotland will follow-on from the Contractor carrying out these window installation works in order to complete the insulation works (which will incorporate completing the finishes to the new window installations with the exception of approximately 16nr properties which have previously had internal wall insulation installed. For these properties, it shall be the Contractor s responsibility to install all internal window finishes).It is the client s requirement that these works by Everwarm Scotland be carried out the next working day following completion of the window installation works and the successful Contractor will be required to liaise with Everwarm Scotland and ensure all works are completed in accordance with pre-agreed programme dates in order to prevent disruption to Everwarm Scotland s works and the Association s customers.The Contractor shall take cognisance of the abo
