The object of the tender process is 2-port 40 GHz network analyzer. The VNA will be used for the characterization of both passive and active electronic components, with future plans to extend usage to optoelectronic measurements — for example, evaluating S-parameters of optical modulators and photodiodes (e.g., S21 gain/response). Therefore, the base unit should be compatible with optoelectronic measurement setups, including integration with external electro-optic (E/O) and opto-electronic (O/E) modules. The objective is to find one professional supplier that can guarantee a high standard of quality and who is capable of providing the 2-port 40 GHz network analyzer and installation and user training in its entirety. VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd will choose one supplier from among the tenderers.The object of the tender process is described in more detail in the invitation to tender documents.
