(19107) 805 control of energy labels and minimum requirements for electrical appliances in switzerland
from 1 january 2002, energy consumption as well as other characteristics of electrical appliances must be declared in switzerland using the energy label. Art. 14 of the energy efficiency requirements ordinance (oeee, sr 730.02) provides that the federal office of energy (sfoe) shall control whether products put into circulationwe are compliant with the oeee. In 2014, the company electrossuisse won a call for tenders and was given the mandate to carry out the controls. These controls are carried out at three levels: overall market control, administrative controls of expert reports and control of manufacturers' declarations by means of measures.
