REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - CONTRACT 18-006

GARBAGE COLLECTION & DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

Sealed bids will be received by the Village of Blacks Harbour (hereinafter called the "Municipality") located at 65 Wallace Cove Road, Blacks Harbour, NB E5H 1G9 (Telephone: 506-456-4870 and Fax: 506-456-4872) until 12 pm (noon) Atlantic Standard Time, on October 12, 2018, for garbage collection and disposal of residential garbage and collection of residential recyclables within the municipal boundaries.

The contract will be in effect from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021.

Bids can be hand-delivered or mailed by registered courier (or by any courier requiring a signature by the receiving person) to the above noted address. The submission must be in a sealed envelope with the contract number clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Envelopes without the above mentioned requirements will not be accepted. There will be no public opening.

Submissions received after the time and date specified shall be rejected.

THE LOWEST BID MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE ACCEPTED.

The Village Council shall make the final determination as to the acceptability of the submissions and reserves the right to accept any part of any bid as deemed to be in the best interest of the Village.
