Construction of Bridge Brgy. Oringao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental
The DPWH Negros Occidental 3rd District Engineering Office, Kabankalan City, through the FY 2016 GAA (RA 10717) intends to apply the sum of P 25, 293, 000.00 being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for 16GM0034. Bids received in excess of ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) of the DPWH 3rd Negros Occidental Engineering District, Kabankalan City, now invites to bid for the Construction of 1 - 20 l.m. Pre-stressed Concrete Girder Bridge to include detour/access road construction, removal of actual structures/obstructions, excavation, embankment, aggregate subbase course, construction of 0.23m thick PCCP carriageway and shoulder, approach slab and concrete railings, 450mm x 450mm pre-cast concrete piles, painting of bridge and railings, reinforcing steel, structural concrete, installation of elastomeric bearing pads, metal drain pipes, and regulatory signs, installation/launching of Type IV 20 l.m. pre-stressed structural concrete I-Girders, construction of grouted riprap, stone masonry and rubble concrete and application of reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings as per approved plans and specifications. Completion of the works required for the project is 249 Calendar Days (CD). Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project costing at least 50% of the ABC. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II, Instruction to Bidders.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non - discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184) otherwise known as the -A"Government Procurement Reform Act-A
