Straeto bs. is owned by the municipalities in the capital area, Reykjavík, Kopavogur, Hafnarfjordur, Gardabaer, Mosfellsbaer and Seltjarnarnes. The company currently operates 24 electric buses, with plans to expand the fleet to 230 electric buses over the next several years.
