Situated astride the municipalities of Plan-les-Ouates and Confignon, this project aims to create a new part of the city welcoming several thousand inhabitants as well as quality activities, public facilities and public spaces. The first pieces urban areas of the project are currently being implemented (Rolliet district) by several project owners and real estate developers. This urbanization is located on a territory historically made up of a vast agricultural plain, characterized by the absence of housing, a low built density and a road network essentially designed for agricultural uses. The arrival of new residential areas, services and activities thus requires a profound transformation of existing infrastructure to meet future needs in terms of mobility, technical networks and public spaces.
