Work includes concrete removal, reinforcing steel installation, and construction of new standard concrete handrail and deck sections per ODOT drawings.The Work to be done under this Contract includes:• Removing damaged portions of the existing concrete rail and deck as shown in the Plans.• Protecting existing deck reinforcement at locations indicated.• Constructing new concrete deck and standard concrete handrail per applicable ODOT drawings.• Installing reinforcing steel in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO requirements.• Providing Temporary Work Access and Containment systems as depicted in the Plans.• Performing concrete removal, replacement, finishing, and joint construction within the limits shown.• Implementing temporary traffic control and detour signing per the Plans.• Completing all additional, incidental, and environmental compliance work required by the Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, Typical Drawings, and Plans.
