Tender Details

111-BYM-2025 - Procurement of an agreement for the operation and maintenance of public toilets The Norwegian Environment Agency's current operating agreement for public toilets expires in April 2026. As of December 2025, the operating agreement includes 14 toilets and two summer-open urinals (see appendix 1.1). The supplier must take into account that the number may increase during the contract period, but also that it may decrease. We assume that the number is more likely to increase than to decrease. The 14 public toilets covered by this the agreement is distributed over large parts of the city, and is of various models. Seven Heyerdahl toilets are located at the following locations: Myraløkka, St. Hanshaugen, Sofienbergparken, Slottsparken, Youngstorget, Stortorvet and Rådhusbrygga. There are three Liberté toilets located at Eidsvolls plass/Spikersuppa. This is an art installation where normal toilet operation is included as part of the work, while the art installation itself is managed by a third party. The Norwegian Environment Agency has itself established toilets in the following places: Christian Frederiks plass (Momek), Klosterenga (Danfo), Jordal (Raw Concrete), Vekta Nedre Foss (in an existing building that used to be a grain weigher). Two summer-open urinals at Kampen: one at Kampen park and one at Kampen church. See appendix 1.1 - overview of toilets and appendix 1.2 - map of toilets. For more information and details about the scope of operation and maintenance, see appendix 2 - Assignment description.
