1000864 General contractor Gravsbekken Stage 2 The Gravsbekken stage 2 project includes upgrading and separating the pipeline network in the upper part of the Gravsbekken catchment in Bærum municipality. In the current situation, waste water and storm water are transported together pipeline in the former stream bed, which largely functions as a property boundary between private properties. The background for the project is the need to separate the pipeline network in order to reduce the supply of extraneous water to the municipal sewage system and further to VEAS. The measure will also help to reduce the risk of basement flooding as a result of capacity challenges in downstream pipelines. The contract work includes the establishment of a separate system for waste water and storm water in the upper part of the Gravsbekken catchment, upstream of the contract boundary to Gravsbekken stage 1. The works mainly include: Establishment of new separate lines for waste water and storm water Replacement of municipal water lines where these are located in the same route or can be suitably coordinated in common TrenchReplacement of existing water mains in the event of unblockingTrench work, including the establishment of a common trench for several types of conduit where this is expedientConnection to the existing conduit network and necessary adaptation to the completed facility in Gravsbekken stage 1 Re-establishment of affected areas, including private garden areas.
