Vechtstromen Water Board, as the Contracting Authority, wishes to select one contractor through a European public procedure for the removal and elimination of invasive submerged pest species with a rake boat.

Description from the Client

Water is lifesimportance. We need it as drinking water, for arable farming, in livestock farming and in industry. In the Netherlands there is usually enough water, but it is often unevenly distributed and polluted. That is why water management is necessary. Where there is too much water, the water boards drain it. Where there is too little, they feed itan. They regulate the discharge of polluted water with permits. They purify the sewage water and maintain the flood defenses.

Vechtstromen Water Board covers roughly Twente, Southeast Drenthe and Northeast Overijssel. The management area covers 225, 000 hectares, has 800, 000 inhabitants and approximately 470, 000 people.shoudens.
