This is an Advance Procurement Notice: As the Main Construction Manager for the Faro Mine Complex, Parsons Inc., will be requesting proposals for the Backwash System Improvements at CVPTP Project at the Faro Mine Complex in Faro, Yukon.The Project involves the installation of process, mechanical and electrical systems to enhance and improve backwashing capabilities at the Cross Valley Pond Treatment Plant (CVPTP). The project includes the supply, installation and testing of process piping, valves and joints, pumps, cable trays, electrical conduits and cables, grounding system, the fabrication and erection of structural steel for access. It mainly includes the upgrades to the process mechanical and electrical systems to the treatment facility, including the supply and placement of two filtered water tanks, new Square D motor control center sections and Schneider VDFs. For instrumentation and controls, all devices, transmitters and instruments will need to be pre-calibrated from the factory, installed and tested before plant commissioning.
