Brazil is known to be the largest country in both Latin and South American regions. In the year 1889 the country became the presidential republic. Brazil’s current constitution which was formulated in the year 1988 defines the country as a federal republic. The entire federation comprises of 5,570 municipalities, union of federal districts and 26 states. The economy of this country is considered seventh largest by GDP reported in 2015 and eight largest in the world. Until the year 2010, Brazil has one of the fastest growing major economies in the world and the economic reforms have given the country new international influence and recognition. The national development bank of Brazil plays an essential role in the growth of the country’s economy. The country has been identified as an emerging global power. This country has a mixed economy and there is an abundance of natural resourced in this country. The country is the last producer of coffee and has been so for the last 150 years. In 2014, the GDP of this country was reported to be 15,153 US dollars which has placed Brazil in the 77th position as per the IMF data. Service sector, manufacturing, mining and agriculture are the key components that contribute largely in the overall growth of the country. As per its labour force which is estimated around 107 million, the country ranks in the 66th position globally. Brazil has also been expanding its presence in commodities market as well as international finance. Brazil also has the fourth largest car market in the world.
