Tender Details

The 502d contracting squadron at jbsa-randolph, tx hereby gives notice of their intent to award a firm fixed price contract to shenandoah fleet maintenance and management, on a sole source basis in accordance with far 13 procedures. In accordance with far 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the contracting officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Due to the critical nature and the urgency of the requirement, this contracting activity has determined that obtaining the required services from the incumbent contractor on the basis of only one source is in the government`s best interest, with a competitively solicited contract to follow this award. This contract will provide a continuation of the services being provided under the current/previously awarded competitive service-disabled veteran-owned small business contract, fa301615p0001, and bridge contract fa301619pxxx, which expires 31 jul 19. This instant action will provide continuity of services (starting 1 aug 2019) until a new follow-on contact is awarded. The anticipated award date for the follow-on contract is november 2019. These services support the wounded warrior-in-transition program and provide soldiers the assistance necessary to maintain normal life support functions. Due to the critical nature of the requirement, the government cannot risk a gap in service. This action will allow for the necessary phase in period on the follow-on contract while maintaining the current support.
