Tender Details

In October 2018, the Government published the Women and Girls in Sport and Active Recreation Strategy (the Strategy) which strives to achieve equity for all women and girls as well as seeking to understand and address the multiple barriers women and girls can face. The Strategy has three priority areas: Leadership, Participation, and Value and Visibility. In response to the Strategy, Sport NZ will invest at least $10 million over the next three years on 24 commitments to enable more women and girls to realise their potential in and through play, active recreation and sport.

One of Sport NZ`s 24 commitments is to understand and track diversity on Boards, leadership/management teams, critical roles and the workforce as a whole, across investment partner organisations who receive Sport NZ Group investment (i.e. investment from Sport NZ and/or High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ)). The Workforce Diversity Survey (Diversity Survey) will support several of the measures identified in the Leadership outcome of the Strategy. It will also help investment partners to make organisational change to improve the diversity and inclusion of their governance and workforce.
