Tender Details

The department of child safety, youth and women (the department) is committed to improving the quality of life of queensland women. The department provides funding to non-government organisations to deliver health and wellbeing services that support women with gender-based health issues to enhance their wellbeing, support their social and economic participation and independence and assist them to recover from domestic, family and sexual violence.



The department is seeking to procure a new women-s health and wellbeing support service in redlands. a total of $200, 518 per annum (excl. Gst) is available for up to five years.



The new service will provide trauma informed counselling and case management support to meet the ongoing needs of women and young women who require assistance to achieve better health and wellbeing. Services will prioritise women recovering from experiences of domestic and family violence and other forms of gender-based violence. services may also deliver targeted community education and implement early intervention strategies to those at higher risk of experiencing gender based health and wellbeing issues.



The new service will build on and not duplicate existing service responses already provided by specialist sexual violence services and domestic and family violence services through the delivery of longer term, trauma informed and recovery focused counselling and related activities
