Slac national accelerator laboratory is operated by stanford university for the department of energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the laboratory are not federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the federal acquisition regulations in 48 cfr. Nonetheless, certain federal laws, executive orders, and regulations may affect our doe approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.
Slac has a requirement for a competitive firm fixed price white beam x-ray imaging microscope brand name equal to optique peter only.
(1) quantity: 1 each pn# wb0020 white beam x-ray imaging microscope - single objective
(2) quantity: 1 each pn# rvts65 motorized rear translation stage - open loop control, motorized rear vertical translation stage for wbe - (65 mm travel) - step motor
the award will be made based upon the lowest price technically acceptable basis. The evaluation factors will be as follows:
1. Integrated vertical stage to move microscope out of beam path
2. Minimum 7mm x 7mm field of view on an 18mm (diagonal) detector
3. = 1.6x magnification
4. Designed for yag:ce scintillator-based detection, with minimum 7mm x 7mm clear aperture
5. = 11" depth along beam direction (including integrated vertical stage)
6. F-mount camera connection
